TopFix Base Plate Metal Roof
Our Top fix galvanised base plate, also known as roof plate, comes to secure the connection between the base plate and the roof surface. This fortified clamp will ensure the vertical posts to hold the load and resist the wind speed on heights. Our TopFix base plate can be applied on flat or slopped corrugated roofs. It simply provides a method of connecting the system to a metal roof structure.
- Metal roof panels with minimum steel thickness of 0.7mm require 2 x rivets per corner.
- Composite roof panels with minimum steel thickness of 0.5mm thick require 4 x rivets per corner.
- Standing seam roofs are designed to fit on to the standing seam of a proprietary roofing sheet and is fixed with non penetrative clamps.
TopFix Galvanised Base Plate/Roof Plate is a component of our TopFix roof edge protection system. It will only fit on tubes with 48.3od size.
