A 90° joint amongst a vertical and two horizontals.
 
It is normally used on straight and level banister to fix the mid/lower rails to the upright. The vertical must stay continuous with cross railings cut.
 
Typically used in conjunction with the (clamp fitting # 104) Long Tee.
