DID YOU KNOW?
The Philpot Lane Mice Sculpture, officially the smallest statue in London, depicts two mice fighting over cheese. It’s dedicated to two builders who tragically fell during the construction of the Monument to the Great Fire of London. The workers had been arguing over a missing sandwich, which, as it turns out, had been eaten by mice!
KITE'S PART OF THE PROJECT
Kite took pride in supplying the project with a Customised Three-Ball Standard Handrail System. The customisation involved precision laser cutting at the end of the post to facilitate fixing it to the mounted base plate.
Additionally, two metal brackets were added to the body of the upright to hold the mesh infill panels. These Mesh Infill Panels, provided by Kite Group, enhance safety by preventing falls.
Furthermore, Galvanised Tube Clamp Fittings were supplied to secure the connection between handrails.
Kite’s commitment to understanding safety needs and timely supply remained flawless
